  • What's Included
  • You don't need to use hundreds of wire ties to run both coaxial cable and Cat. 5e cable through your home. This 500-foot spool of jacketed coax and Cat. 5e cable has two coax lines and two data lines, so you'll be able to cut exactly the length you need of each to reach every television or Cat. 5 structured wiring outlet in your home. Wire strippers, crimping tools and cable connectors are sold separately.

West Penn Wire's two coax lines feature quad-shielded solid bare copper conductors with gas-injected foam polyethylene insulation and PVC jackets in black and white for easy differentiation. The two Cat. 5e cables are constructed of four pair 24-AWG solid bare copper wire with thermoplastic insulation and a PVC jacket.

If you need more access to your cables throughout the run, a non-jacketed 500-foot spool of dual coax and dual Cat. 5e cable is also available with the cables bonded together in 4- to 6-inch lengths for easy cable runs and convenient termination options. If you don't need the data cable, 1000-foot spools of black or white coaxial cable are available to be purchased separately.

    Get the Best Connection
Compression fittings are agreed to be the highest quality type for audio/video applications because they feature a radial crimp that compresses uniformly around the cable and the body of the connector. This creates a stronger, more robust connection between it and the cable, and provides superior electrical performance compared to traditional connections. Compression fittings also offer a quicker, more consistent termination, with a high degree of repeatability to ensure that tired hands will not make a bad connection.

Terminating RG6 and RG6 Quad coaxial cable has never been easier. With the Weatherproof Compression Tool Set, you can quickly relocate cable TV/cable modem outlets, replace faulty F connectors or install and repair your satellite TV. The Weatherproof Compression Tool Set lets you make professional-quality terminations easily. This HDTV-compatible set includes a compression crimp tool, a cable cutter, a cable stripper for RG6 and RG6 Quad coax, and 10 waterproof compression connectors that are safe for both indoor and outdoor use.

    Protect Your Fingers
After you've stripped the coax, save your fingers by using the flaring tool. This special tool quickly (and painlessly!) opens up the coax jacket to make inserting the connector easy. No more bleeding fingers!

Definitely like the bundled cable. Makes the installation a bit cleaner in my opinion. I just wished there was a bundle that contained at LEAST 3 CAT5e cablespreferably 4. This would make sense for 2 data ports one can be used for uplink, 1 preferably 2 telephone ports, and 2 coax.

Here's my logic for the Cat5e
    1 - Data port for network/internet
2 - Uplink data port or additional data port for network/internet - I used this port to be able to send my wireless internet signal from the satellite on top of the house into the central wiring panel via 1 of the data ports, while still being able to use the other data port for internet usage.
3 and 4 - Telphone - the RJ11 jacks support up to 3 phone lines. That's more than half the wires in the cat5e cable. I only ran 1 cat5e for my phone lines, but I'd run 2 if I had to do it over again, just so I could have all 3 lines on each jack used two RJ11 jacks at each wall plate so you can have phone/fax service wired up and ready to go. I'll likely never need all those phone lines, but it's nice to know they're there if you ever feel like expanding.

This product is the way to go. What a pain to wire in the walls of an existing home. So to do it with 4 in one shot was a very big +.
