  • Build your own temperature sensor with this IC chip. Simply solder leads to chip, apply 5-24V and output will be a linearly scaled 0-5VDC, 10mV/°F.

    The Temperature Sensing IC Chip can be directly connected to TimeCommander Plus without extra circuitry. Calibrated directly in degrees Fahrenheit.

    Simple and cheap solution. A .1mfd ceramic cap across the output and ground will provide a more stable reading when using remotely.

    Already tested, about to be installed, works fine as well. A circuit diagram would be nice on the packaging. The user currently needs to either log on to smarthome.com and look at it or search for the component data sheet on the net.

    Great product! I like these IC's. I use them with ELK, Stargate, Comstarr automation controllers. Works great as standalone temperature sensor. For best results, build an (OP AMP) operational amplifier circuit to change resolution to 1 degree increments. (3 wire connection)
