Using high impact-resistant thermoplastic construction, the Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet is specially designed for increased protection of children in their homes. Trim plates are sold separately.
The Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet replaces a standard wall outlet and features a UL-tested shutter mechanism for protection against improper object insertion, better protection than traditional outlet caps or protection plates, which can be removed.
Along with long-term blade retention and tri-drive screws, the Tamper-Resistant Decorator Outlet features extra-large circuit break-off tabs.
The Tamper-Resistant Outlet also comes with a nightlight, available in white or ivory. These units are all sold separately.

Rating I was unaware from the product description that installation of the product might require an electrician or someone other than myself, to install the outlet protector. That may have influenced what product that I bought. Other than that, everything was perfect.
