  • With all the electrical devices found in the average American home, electrical noise and signal attenuation of home automation signals can become a major concern. Excess traffic on the power line, caused by HID lighting, motor devices, switching power supplies and other devices that run at frequencies between 4 and 40 kHz, make it harder for signals to travel. Larger and highly capacitive devices, such as televisions, computer equipment, and universal power supplies (UPSs) might absorb the signal completely so may not reach its intended receiver. Interference with your UPB signals could greatly reduce the efficiency and reliability of your UPB system. By installing this Simply Automated noise filter between the UPB device and the noise-producing device, you will ensure the UPB signal transmissions will not be slowed down or lost. This noise filter is designed to block any electrical noise above 4 kHz and works with all power line technologies. Installation is so hassle-free, it will only take a few minutes to maintain and significantly improve your UPB systems reliability.

This product is also available in a wired version, sold separately.

Works great for UPB, but pretty expensive for what is essentially a choke and capacitor.

These work great! Isolates noise or capacitive/attenuation every time!! Good for X10, Insteon, UPB or whatever power line technology used over 4kHz.
