Does an OK job Review by Eugene S.
    Does an OK job

Pro: Solidly made and looks, voice and video communication can be initiated from the monitor unit even if no button has been pressed outside, camera unit can be powered from the existing doorbell button and also has a re-chargeable battery back-up for power outages.

Con: half-duplex which is very inconvenient when talking to strangers (only one side can talk at a time), rather low sound sensitivity of the camera unit - a person needs to talk right into the unit and/or talk very loudly in order to activate the mic and be heard. Again, very inconvenient and awkward. The connection is not always established at first attempt when requesting from the monitor unit while there is only 30 ft and a few drywall walls in the way to the camera unit. Cannot ring the existing doorbell button, so one ends up having 2 separate buttons, confusing visitors as to which one they should press. Pictures taken by the unit cannot be downloaded. Finally, when first trying the unit out of the box, monitor displays grossly inaccurate colors for the picture, which turns out to be the artifact of the camera unit not being placed into its security cradle! Wow, who knew! I was very close to starting a return process when I accidentally figured it out.

Still, with all the negatives above, this is the best looking and functioning wireless door phone I could find. Very surprised they are this bad given what is possible with modern day technology.

Frustrated with video image Review by Giving up
    Frustrated with video image

Doorbell does seem to work, but people have to press HARD to get it to ring. when the video image comes on but i cannot get it to view outside without someone pressing the doorbell, even with resetting it oh 30 times.

images pretty hazy, you get a good idea who is there, but the image quality... well, those ATM images of criminals stealing from ATMs? those are much better quality...

Works most of the time Review by Jeff
    Works most of the time

We have installed it under a metal roof porch. It works great on the ground floor but upstairs only works 50% of the time and the quality is low when it does work.

    Where is iPhone App

This is like being in the 1990's – would be a great solution if I could connect with my iPhone.

Good remote doorbell Review by Alarm Contractor
    Good remote doorbell

This is a good remote doorbell and can be used for remore aces controll for a door strike.
What this isn't is a good approach image recorder.
The video is very low quality and is slow to capture and record a normal entrance.
The camera activates after a 5 second delay and holds only 100 non-exportable images.
It's very easy to install using existing doorbell wiring.
