  • It used to be that all a lock could do was keep people out but those days are long gone. Nexia Home Intelligence and Schlage are working together to give you more control over who's getting in, and when. A Schlage Nexia Camelot Z-Wave Touchscreen Deadbolt gives you the ability to monitor and manage who's accessing your lock, by using assigned codes (up to 30) for family members, housekeepers, service staff or a babysitter. Nexia remote management* can notify you via a quick text or email alert when family member gets home or housekeeper leaves for the day. Nexia smart home technology and Schlage help you strengthen home security with America's most trusted lock and convenient remote access from most web-accessible computers, tablets or Smartphones.

A Schlage Camelot Z-Wave Touchscreen Deadbolt makes it easy for you to know who's coming and going in your home. Assign as many as 30 entry codes to help you control traffic and improve your sense of security when you're not there without having to copy a key or re-key a lock altogether. Another feature of the Camelot Touchscreen Deadbolt is a built-in alarm. This technology allows the lock to alert homeowners when there is movement unrelated to that of simply unlocking the door. Choose between activity, tamper, or forced entry alert when deciding on how sensitive you want the door to be when alerting of a potential break-in. The Camelot Touchscreen Deadbolt further strengthens the security of your home by adding ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 security to the front door which is the highest residential security certification attainable. This grade is given by the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association (BHMA) which is accredited by the American National Standards Institutes (ANSI). There is no wiring required during installation of this lock. Installation can be achieved with just a screwdriver by a do-it-yourselfer.

With Nexia Home Intelligence and a Schlage Touchscreen Deadbolt you can:
    • Grant entry to your home from anywhere when you need to let someone in but can't get there.
    • Assign up to 30 private user codes for family members and/or friends to use at the door.
    • Set Nexia to send you instant text or email alerts when certain family members use their codes, so you always know who's home.
    • Set a recurring code to let someone like a housekeeper in every week during a specific timeframe, or set up a one-time code for a guest you want to let in for a set time period.
    • Add, delete or change user codes remotely.
    • Confirm the status of your wireless lock anytime, from most web-connected computers, tablets or Smartphones.
    • Not at home and need to let someone in right now? You can activate your deadbolt lock using your Nexia subscription; however, deadbolt requires manually turning the bolt to lock and unlock the door when activated remotely.

    • Please Note: In order to properly work, Nexia Home Intelligence products require a Nexia Bridge (or former Schlage LiNK Bridge) sold separately. The bridge connects your Nexia Home Intelligence Z-Wave components to your router, which in-turn allows you to control them. If you already have a bridge this product can be simply integrated into your existing network. It is important to note that this product will only work on Schlage's Nexia Home Intelligence system.

      * Additional Note: Remote management directly from your mobile device or computer with Nexia Home Intelligence requires a monthly subscription of $8.99 which can be activated with the manufacturer at any time upon setup of product. This standard subscription plan is really the best way to truly automate every aspect of your home and provides you with the most flexibility to run your home from wherever.

Products that are Wink App Compatible must be connected through a Wink HUB. The Wink HUB allows these products to connect with the Wink App (available for iOS and Android) and interact with other Wink App Compatible or Wink App Ready products – see below. They use communications like Z-Wave, Zigbee and ClearConnect to improve battery life and extend the range of smart products around your home. The Wink HUB allows them to speak the same language, so you can easily control them – and customize their interactions – all from the Wink App. Click on the icon to the left for additional Wink App Compatible products.

Products that are Wink App Ready have Wink technology built in and can connect directly to the Wink App (available for iOS and Android) without the assistance of the Wink HUB. Once connected, the Wink App allows you to interact with other Wink App Ready or Wink App Compatible products. Wink App Ready devices use Wi-Fi to connect to your wireless router and communicate with the Wink App - so you can easily control them and and customize their interactions. Click on the icon to the left for additional Wink App Ready products.

Solid Performer with great features Review by Timmcd1
    Solid Performer with great features

I've had this lockset for close to two years now. I have used it as a stand-alone device until only recently. As such, it has proved reliable, attractive and useful. I particularly like the auto-relock feature so never have to worry if it is locked. The surface of the keypad is nicely textured to hide fingerprints, both a security and aesthetic consideration. Now that I've added Z-Wave functionality to my Universal Industries ISY994i automation controller I am able to control and monitor the lockset remotely. Being the sole Z-Wave device so far, I had range issues, as I was told to expect. Rather than investing in additional Z-Wave devices to strengthen the network, I found that adding an attic-mounted antenna solved the problem at less cost than one additional Z-Wave module. All in all I highly recommend the lockset, both as a stand-alone and networked accessed device.
