  • The RCI 8365 Mortise MicroMag® Electromagnetic Lock is a low profile magnet that is designed for cabinets, sliding doors, small enclosures and jewelry cases. This lock is ideal for protecting your valuables from theft at your home or office. The Mortise MicroMag mounts on your desired frame keeping it securely locked until you release the magnet manually via your hardwired security system.

    This electromagnetic lock has a holding force of up to 300 lbs and leaves no residual magnetism. The MicroMag lock comes in a brushed anodized aluminum finish.

    It is recommended that the MicroMag be inspected and maintained on a quarterly basis to ensure proper performance. It is important to keep contaminating materials away from the surfaces of the electromagnetic lock and armature plate. You should clean the surfaces periodically with a non-abrasive cleaner.
