  • Temperature sensors can be helpful, indicating the weather outside or the current conditions indoors. But many sensors have a limited range and are unable to withstand extreme conditions. The Extended Range Indoor/Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Sensor for Leviton Security & Automation Omni automation controllers will sense temperatures from -40°F to 120°F and relative humidity from 0 to 100%, and it is coated with a sealant to withstand outdoor moisture. This new, high-accuracy temperature and humidity sensor doesn't even need calibration.

    By connecting the Extended Range Indoor/Outdoor Temperature/Humidity Sensor to your Leviton Security & Automation controller, you'll be able to activate programs for controlling temperatures in remote areas that are susceptible to such extreme temperatures, such as attics, garages, basements, and wine cellars. This sensor can also activate programs to control humidity, such as turning on a fan in the bathroom to prevent mold growth. Automation programs, macros, and indoor appliances can also be controlled based on the outdoor temperature or humidity.
