Insteon Senior Account Manager


Senior Account ManagerSMARTHOME is an established fast-growing, high-performance organization that has developed an advanced home-control networking technology (INSTEON?). Smarthome is seeking sales individuals with strong technical skills, coupled with business savvy to position INSTEON with large enterprise developers/OEMs such as GE, Honeywell, Motorola, Microsoft, Sony, Etc. The candidates hired for these positions will be expected to enunciate and execute a clear sales plan that leads to the closure of significant licensing revenues and the positioning of INSTEON as the de-facto industry standard. The candidates should be charismatic professionals and able to "roll up their sleeves". He/she must believe in team results, possess a high degree of integrity, and exhibit a passion for the business. Candidates must know how to think in win-win terms by creating synergy while at the same time have a killer instinct towards the competition.
  • High School diploma
  • Five to ten years of experience selling advanced electronics technology
  • A history of success in penetrating new accounts and developing significant revenue streams
  • Knowledge of home automation markets such as: HVAC, A/V, Security, etc.
  • Strong business skills
  • Excellent judgment and self-directed work style
  • Strong customer service & support skills
  • Excellent communications and writing skills
  • MBA/MSEE/MSCS a plus
  • Travel: Job requires significant travel (50-75%)
