Keep you home or business secure, day or night. The SL-6030-WH Wireless Motion Sensor can be mounted anywhere you'd like to detect movement. The unit is battery-operated so you won't have to worry about adding extra wiring, making the sensor more discrete and less obvious to potential intruders. Once movement is sensed, the unit will automatically send commands to any connected lights.

Rating Had the same unit for about ten years outdoors. Plastic became brittal over time and the base broke off while trying to replace the batteries. Recieved the replacement fast.

Rating I have owned both the plug-in lamp activator and two sets of motion lights for the front and back yards for about 12 yrs. I keep 3 of them focused on my driveway and cars. You get some false alerts from cats and assorted varmits, but overall Im very pleased. Very handy as a driveway alert for visitors. The sensors last about 5 yrs, everything else is still like new.

Rating Very pleased, range is good, I was able to set up three of these wireless motion sensor/receiver combos in the same area and without any interference between the devices.

Rating This is a replacement sensor. The first one worked fine for about nine months after that it kind of had a mind of its own. Only turning the light on every once and a while. After changing batteries and trying different settings, I thought I would a try new sensor. We'll see if this one lasts more thn nine months.
In theory this thing is a great idea. I have porch lights that I like and don't want to replace with motion sensing fixtures.Posted on 12/17/2010
