Some months or more after installing a product, for example, a ToggleLinc switch, the directions become lost or misplaced. Why not post some common product directions, such as programming dimmer presets, or other post-installation instructions, where users can easily find them on the site? Since the directions are of no use to anyone who doesn't already own a product, you're giving nothing away, but you are doing your customers a tremendous service.

They are already on line. Look on the product pages on Smarthome.com. Links to both quickstart instructions and full owner's manuals are mid-page.

How about links for the pre-Insteon SH device guides?

I've found manuals for a bunch of different products linked on the site, not just Insteon. Out of production gear is a little more difficult to find, but I've had pretty good luck just Googleing the product number.

You can find the manual for most of our popular (but now discontinued) products here: http://www.smarthome.com/manuals.html

Please reply here if the document (manuals, quick start guides, software, etc) you are looking for is not listed.

We'll get that added to the page. For now here's the direct link to the manual: http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/1624_web.pdf
