Rating Thought my painted rail had lead, instead iron gave a positive test for lead. The product stinks, literally, like rotten eggs. I tried another product called LeadCheck and it was able to tell me that the paint did not have lead. LeadCheck did find lead on an old painted window. I would recommend LeadCheck over this product any day.
