Create a Virtual 3-Way Circuit Without New Wires
One of the most common questions our customers ask is how to make two independent light switches operate as one circuit. Normally, this involves hiring an electrician to run new wires through your walls – a very costly expense. But with two identical SwitchLinc Dimmers or Switches, you can set it up easily without adding a single new wire!

Simply replace the two switches with SwitchLinc 2-Way Dimmers or SwitchLinc 2-Way Switches for non-dimmable lights (i.e. fluorescent). These dimmers and switches connect like ordinary switches, but are much smarter.

Just set them to the same 'address' following a simple procedure in the instruction manual, and when someone turns on one switch, the other one responds as well. Both units will now be fully synchronized, no matter what the action (On, Off, Dim/Brighten).
