  • There are numerous accessories available for the M1 Gold security and automation panels. By linking the M1 16-Out Expander 8 Voltage/8 Relay to the M1's 4-wire data bus, you'll add eight voltage and eight relay outputs to your M1 or M1 Gold system. Up to 12 output expanders may be used; the M1 Gold can expand to 208 outputs, while the M1 can expand to 32 outputs.

    The M1 16 Output Expander only adds eight voltage outputs and eight single-pole, double-pole relay outputs to the M1 and features flash memory for field updating of the operating firmware. The voltages can be used for triggering low-current devices such as LEDs and relays. The M1 16-Out Expander 8 Voltage/8 Relay mounts in the enclosure using the provided glides.

    The eight voltage outputs may be converted to relays using M1 Relay Boards (sold separately). For 16 voltage outputs, try the M1 16 Output Expander Voltage Only instead.

    Product works as advertised, the only down fall is that they seem to last only a few years before the board decides to not function any more.
