  • If you use your M1 or M1 Gold security and automation panel for your business, now you can further utilize the M1 LCD Keypad that programs and arms your system by using it for added security against unauthorized programming or entry to your establishment. The M1 Mini Prox Reader for Keypad is a plug-in accessory that permits touchless reading of proximity cards and proximity fobs by an M1 LCD Keypad. One prox card is included with the reader; additional cards and fobs are sold separately in packages of 10.

Ideal for higher security installations and as an alternative to remembering PIN codes, the M1 Mini Prox Reader for Keypad provides virtually the same capabilities as a user code. Typical uses for this reader include arming and disarming the system, such as when employees enter in the morning or leave the building for the day, or to trip the output to de-energize a lock, to admit people to the building.
