The Draper 121023 VIC-OS Video Interface Control (VIC) Override Switch acts to lower a product when that product is normally controlled by one of the VICs, and it is not desired to activate that VIC. For example, a screen is controlled by a VIC-12, which activates upon the turning on of a projector. Occasionally, an overhead or slide projector is used instead of the projector. On these occasions, it is not desirable to turn on the projector in order to lower the screen. This is where the Override Switch could be used to lower the screen instead.
