The Dayton Ultra Series delivers solid, accurate bass while providing smooth high frequency response - perfect for small-to-medium home theater or whole home audio applications. The US650C is designed as the "all speaker solution" for ceiling mounted home theater systems. A 15° angle provides cinematic imaging when room layouts dictate the use of a ceiling mounted home theatre system. It can be used for front, center channel, or surround speaker applications. Utilizing a 6-1/2" Kevlar woofer, the US650C dishes out stunningly warm mids and tight, accurate bass. The 1" silk dome tweeter reproduces clear highs that rival esoteric loudspeakers. The pivoting tweeter provides additional adjustment for customizing the soundstage and imaging your home theater system.
This in-ceiling speaker is typically used in instances where you want all channels of audio output in a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound audio system to come from the ceiling; as the 15° angle will provide accurate cinematic imaging. You can use this speaker for all of your channels or in combination with Dayton Audio in-wall speakers for your front left and right channel, center channel in-wall dual-woofer speaker for your front center channel, in-ceiling speakers for your surround (side and/or rear) channels and a floor standing subwoofer to handle the lows for a complete home theater experience.
