  • If your house is already wired with cat. 5 twisted pair cable, you can take advantage of this existing wiring to connect wired surveillance cameras to your security monitor without having to run more costly video cable. The CCTV Pass-Thru Balun allows video, two-wire pan/tilt/zoom control and remote power to be transmitted via one four-pair cat. 5 cable, thus eliminating the need to install multiple cables for more efficient cabling in your closed-circuit security and surveillance environment. Security cameras are sold separately.

    Send video up to 2,200 feet via cat. 5 twisted pair wire with the CCTV Pass-Thru Balun, which may be used in pairs or in conjunction with standard twisted pair cross-connect devices and other CCTV baluns such as the 1-Way Video Balun With RJ45 Connections and the 1-Way Video Balun With Screw Terminals.

    The compact CCTV Pass-Thru Balun fits inside dome cameras and back boxes.
