  • Learn how to make strategic business recommendations through trainings in depth quantitative analysis and research
  • Learn how to identify problems, understand them, and create solutions
  • Learn how to perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of customer, market and financial data, business processes, operating models and business requirements
  • Learn how to perform analysis to ensure the validity of data used by other members of the organization
  • Learn how to prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reporting packages to communicate performance results versus expected behavior in a clear and concise mannerQualifications
  • You must have intermediate skills in using Excel. Knowledge of SQL is a big plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Undergraduate students who have completed at least 2 years of coursework may apply. Any Graduate students may apply
  • Students who can show that they are eligible for college credit will be given preference
  • Flexible schedule with at least 16 hours that can be dedicated to this positionAt this time, these internship positions are not paid nor do they guarantee a paid position. We have hired student interns in the past for paid positions, but those interns need to apply to those positions just like everyone else. What you will get out of this internship is the following:
  • Real world training at a leading online retailer of home automation products
  • Practice working with large sets of financial, operating, and marketing data in Excel
  • Much improved Excel skills including Pivot Tables, external data lookups, etc.
  • To learn from and communicate with various other departments within the organization including Marketing, Accounting, Operations, and Engineering
