    • Use the Velleman VMA04 Ethernet Shield to configure your Arduino as a simple web server or allow it to receive online data. With this shield you can set up a simple chat server, make HTTP requests, host simple HTML pages, or send text strings via UDP. The MAC controller supports both Unicast, Multicast and Broadcast packets, has a programmable (up to 64-byte) pattern matching feature within a packet at user defined offset, and programmable wake-up on multiple packet formats (Magic Packet, Unicast, Multicast, Broadcast, specific packet match or any packet). This chip uses pin 10 and 2 on an Arduino UNO board (sold separately). It also uses the ICSP connector as a serial connection to the shield to free up I/O pins. The shield is pre-assembled and stackable, so you can layer on a range of motors and sensors to make your experiment highly functional. This basic kit is perfect for introductory engineering lessons, rapid prototyping, or just tinkering around. Have fun coming up with you inventions!
