This video will show you how to set up the Keypad Tabletop Enclosure.
The kit includes an enclosure lid and base, 2 enclosure screws, 3 wire nuts, a power cord, a strain-relief grommet and a KeypadLinc.
The only tools you will need are a pair of pliers and a Philips screwdriver.
First, thread the stripped wire end of the power cord through the hole in the base of the enclosure so that 6-8 inches of the power cord wires are available from inside the enclosure.
Put the grommet on the power cord and crimp into place with a pair of pliers, then push the it into place until it sits snugly in the enclosure
Because they will not be needed, remove the 2 screws already attached to the KeypadLinc using a Philips screwdriver
Install a wire nut on the RED or LOAD wire to prevent shorting or causing a shock
Locate the wires labeled “neutral” on both the power cord and KeypadLinc. Using a wire nut, connect these two wires together.
Locate the wires labeled “line” on both the power cord and KeypadLinc. Using a wire nut, connect these two wires together.
Install the KeypadLinc into the enclosure so that the wire nuts are tucked into the large end of the enclosure behind the KeypadLinc’s mounting plate.
Install the front cover (lid) of the enclosure, over the KeypadLinc, to the base of the enclosure.
From the bottom of the enclosure, insert the enclosure screws through 2 screw holes and tighten into the front cover until the front cover is snug against the enclosure base.
And that is how you install a KeypadLinc into a Keypad Tabletop Enclosure
