You can easily set the ramp rate for any INSTEON Dimmer switch. The ramp rate is set according to the brightness level (brightest being instant on and dimmest taking 9 seconds to full brightness). Select the desired ramp level. Now press the SET button TWICE quickly to lock in the ramp rate. Lights will flash to confirm. Test to verify. |

While the 8 LED lights on the INSTEON SwitchLinc Dimmer are great for indicating the current brightness of the lights being controlled, you may not want a bright light bar in the bedroom, especially for light sleepers sensitive to light. Add the Frosted White Light Pipes to mute the brightness o f the status lights.
