Looking for a way to monitor traffic in and out of your driveway? Smarthome offers a wide variety of wireless systems that will alert you the moment an expected or unexpected visitor arrives at your home.
Wireless Probe Driveway Alert
If you live in an area that might be prone to wildlife, you'll want to be sure that your driveway alert system won't be triggered by deer or other large animals. The Wireless Probe Driveway Alert system includes a probe that's buried at the base of your driveway and sends a signal to the transmitter only when a car is detected. The battery-operated weatherproof transmitter mounts easily on a tree or post near the driveway and sends a radio signal back to the receiver, which can be plugged into an outlet in your home up to 3000 feet away.
Up to four different zones can be monitored by adding additional transmitters (sold separately). The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver. Extra receivers are also available to be purchased separately - put them in several rooms in your house, so you'll always know the instant someone drives onto your property.
Wireless Motion Detector
Use the Wireless Motion Alert to detect motion at your driveway or at any other key entrance to your property. This system is expandable to up to four transmitters. Additional transmitters are sold separately. The sensor can detect motion and sends a signal up to 1/2 mile. The receiver plugs into an outlet in your home and sounds an adjustable tone for each sensor in the system.
Other motion detector systems are also available. Try the Reporter w/Voice alert system, which combines a wireless motion sensor with a built-in speaker that lets you talk with the person on the sensor's end, up to 1000 feet away, through a digitally clear and secure connection. When movement is detected, an alert is sounded at the base station, which will allow you to listen through the sensor's wireless microphone for 10 seconds. Additional sensors are available. Up to eight sensors can be installed.
One of our most popular systems, the Wireless Motion Alert will send an instant signal from the foot of your driveway to your home when a person or car enters your property. The weatherproof transmitter is easily mounted on a tree or post near the driveway. The transmitter uses a passive infrared (PIR) beam to detect people or vehicles to a distance of up to 80 feet, then sends a radio signal back to the receiver, which can be placed in your home up to 3000 feet away. When the receiver gets a signal from the transmitter, one of four user-specified tones will sound for a few seconds. Up to four different zones can be monitored by adding additional transmitters (sold separately). The transmitters can be programmed so they will each sound a different tone at the receiver. Extra receivers are also available to be purchased separately. Put them in several rooms in your house, so you'll always know the instant someone steps onto your property. Voice Alert System with One Sensor
The Voice Alert System with One Sensor, which includes one receiver and one sensor, announces in your own words that motion has been detected in a particular area. You can connect up to 6 sensors total, each with its own customized voice announcements. The sensors offer adjustments for the length of time between transmissions (to extend battery life) as well as an optional pet-immune lens for ignoring small animals. The motion sensors take it one step further by offering a way to connect an external triggering device to the sensor. This means that if you don't have a need to detect motion but you would like to know if someone opens a door or gate, you can connect a pair of magnetic contacts to the sensor and simply use the sensor as a transmitter.
If that's not enough, the receiver offers 4 relay outputs that are adjustable to the following settings: /p>
- No output
- 1-second output
- 5-second output
- 30-second output
- 60-second output
- Continuous output
