  • What's Included
  • Compact and stylish in appearance, the SB-75 from ScaleBlaster Inc, is an electronic water conditioner that offers homeowners a low-cost, no salt, no maintenance solution to their hard water problems. Designed for indoor installation only, the SB-75 applies a square wave signal to a coil of wire that is wrapped around a home's incoming water pipe. The signal then sweeps at 1,000 to 20,000 times a second and produced a modulating frequency waveform that resonates at the frequency of calcium molecules causing them to lose adhesiveness which translates to conditioned water. The SB-75 ScaleBlaster is an eco-friendly and healthy alternative that is less than half the price of a water softener and is capable of handling moderately hard to very hard water up to 19 grains per gallon. No more hassles of buying salt, wasting water, and polluting our environment with brine discharge. It's easy to install and in only a few minutes you will be enjoying your home's improved water.

Lone naysayer aside this is a proven technology for with this product and with Hydro-flow. I have seen DIRECT results of the installation on my commercial buildings from evaporative cooler pads to sink faucet diffusers. Takes about 3 to 5 months to fully see results as it is not instantaneous as is our culture and the naysayer.

Prior to installing in my 100K sq ft commercial building I did a serious amount of due diligence with our HVAC contractor, Electrical and Mechanical engineers as well as field visits to sites with quantitative results that we could study and see. I hav since put it in my house and my shower head is now flowing normally without constricting needle like spray from the calcium carbonate buildup on each hole, no ring around the dog watering bowl, nor the toilet You have to size the unit to the water hardness in your area, in Santa Fe it is 15 grains.

We just built a new house on very hard well water and planned to install a water-softener. After paying $500 for the softener and calling around to hire a plumber to install it another $150-250, I stumbled across this product. It definitely seemed too good to be true, so I was a little skeptical, but after reading the reviews, I decided to give it a try. After all, if it didn't work, I could return it and still install the water-softener. If it did work, I just saved several hundred bucks.

Well, I'm thrilled with the results. I installed it myself took about an hour, then ran all of the old water out of the house. My wife and I both noticed a dramatic difference in the feel of the water when showering the next morning, and have seen the scale buildup that was on our dishes and inside our dishwasher dissipate over the last 2 weeks.

At a fraction of the cost of the water-softener, and no maintenance whatsoever, I'm pretty happy with this little device so far. I'll come back and update if I find any negatives.

Does anyone really believe that this has any effect? The description is just nonsense. The psychological effect of having spent your money makes some buyers WANT to believe it works like the review above. Ionizing indeed! You cannot ionize without an electrical connection, not some insulated wire wrapped around a pipe!

This is like the box sold elsewhere that you plug into a cigarette lighter outlet to increase fuel mileage. They both depend on the scientifically uneducated public to provide income to their companies.
