SmarthomePro will also begin a training and certification program called SmarthomePro University. Dealers who complete training and become certified will be added to the SmarthomePro referral database.The first SmarthomePro [SHP] University training classes will cover INSTEON wireless home control networking technology. SHP 101 (Level I INSTEON) and SHP 201 (Level II INSTEON), will be launched in conjunction with Electronic House Expo (EHX) Fall 2006.
  • Two Level I training sessions will be offered at the EHX Expo on Thursday, Nov. 16 from 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m.-6:30 p.m. in room 204 of the Long Beach Convention Center.
  • Both Level I and II training classes will be held at Smarthome corporate offices in Irvine, Calif. on Monday, Nov. 13 and Saturday, Nov. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Training is free, except for the cost of materials.
