  • The Optex CX-502 passive infrared detector provides excellent sensing and detection with an excellent degree of reliability. With 50' x 50' coverage and an 85° beam angle this device can be used to monitor a large area. The CX-502 has a low current draw (5mA normal / 12mA max) and consumes much less energy than conventional models.

    Optex has developed the world's first Multi Anti-Masking Technology to prevent any kind of detecting disturbances by applying and developing various forms of anti-masking optical technology. A twin-window detects the variations of optical expansions and optical direction differences caused from two photoelectric detection beams. The CX- 502AM, employing Multi Anti-Masking Technology, promises higher reliability performance than conventional Anti-Masking PIRs.

    Patent-listed Quad Zone Logic provides an accurate and reliable detection pattern that maintains its sensitivity through the entire detection area, even in high temperature or low contrast environments. Quad Zone Logic creates an extremely high vertical zone density, helping to capture the entire body mass and enabling detection of even the smallest temperature contrast against the temperature of the background.
