- What's Included
Connect and distribute video and telephone signals to multiple locations throughout your home with the Trio Kit, an expandable structured wiring distribution system that uses your home's existing cat. 5 twisted pair wiring to establish an expandable home network center for your phone lines, Internet connections and computer peripherals, and even your home entertainment. The Trio Kit includes a telephone and video module and leaves space for another module when you're ready to expand. This structured wiring solution provides central distribution capabilities for smaller home networks.
The Trio kit will distribute up to four incoming telephone lines to 12 telephone jacks throughout your home. Its plug-and-play design provides for simple telephone line reconfiguration, so you'll be able to extend different lines into different rooms at will. The telephone module fits in a single module space within the hub and even offers an RJ-31X feature to seize the line in the event of a security breach.
The included video module will distribute video from a single source to four locations throughout your home. It can also combine four video signals onto one coaxial cable. By connecting all the TVs in your home, this passive video splitter will also allow you to share VCRs and DVDs. You can even connect to your home's security cameras (sold separately) to monitor your surveillance from any room in the house.
The modular Trio is specifically engineered to let installers easily custom-tailor network solutions to any combination of home entertainment, computing, telephone or security needs. Once installed, extending a phone line to a new home office or accessing the stereo from the back yard is done quickly and easily, without running additional wiring.
The Trio holds the video module, the telephone module, and a slot for a third module, but it is easily expandable, thanks to its expansion connectors that allow you to join multiple network centers.
Choose from a wide variety of Greyfox network modules to match your home networking requirements. To share Internet and computer peripherals, snap in an Internet Router module. To support additional phone lines, snap in another telephone network module. To provide additional external (cable, cable modem, antenna, and/or satellite) and internal (DVD, VCR, and/or security camera) video signals to any room in the house, snap in a second video network module. All modules are sold separately.
Not sure which modules you'll want to include? The Trio Bracket & Cover can also be purchased separately; fill it with the Greyfox network modules of your choice.
