Cool home automation and electronics company is looking for a new team member to help us identify, test and acquire new products for sales on our award winning website and direct mail catalog. At Smarthome, we have been selling home automation and hard-to-find electronics and gadget-type products for 18 years. We have a loyal customer-base that is highly educated and enthusiastic about our products. We need to expand though, and that's where you come in...
Identify hot new products that should be added to our catalog
Establish relationships with vendors, acquire samples for testing and evaluation
Evaluate categories where we are currently sourcing products and identify strengths and weaknesses
Evaluate categories and product lines where we could expand our catalog
Ear mark competitors and keep abreast of their new product activities
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Technical product savvy (electronics, home automation, security and surveillance buff)
Excellent written and communication skills
Experience in customer service or sales with a technology retailer (Radio Shack, Best Buy, CompUSA, etc.) a plus.

New Products Coordinator is a full-time position and is an integral part of our Marketing Team. This position reports to our New Products Supervisor.
