- What's Included
The Osiris sends powerful infrared signals to your equipment up to 50 feet away. But if you keep your devices behind cabinet doors or more than 50 feet away from your remote location, adding an RF Base Station will extend the Osiris' signal range to up to 100 feet. The Osiris features a blue backlit LCD screen. Button labels are on the screen; just select the button next to the device you want to control or the selection you wish to make. You'll be able to select from up to eight pages of options for each device. You can even edit the on-screen text. By doing this, you can designate your remote as "Bedroom" or "Den," so you'll know that this is the remote to control the devices in that room.
The Osiris offers a wide range of macro options, since it allows the user to program 472 macros of up to 190 steps each. Settings are stored in non-volatile flash memory, so when you go to replace the included four AAA batteries, you won't lose any of your settings, no matter how long the Osiris sits without battery power. Additional features include an adjustment option for the length of time the blue backlight remains on, up to 99 seconds. Please note online manual not available, instruction sheet included in box.
Professional installers can archive configurations programmed on the Osiris so that they can be reused in the future without repeating the programming process by connecting the Osiris to the PC Link (sold separately).
