- Mobile Version Stopped Working With Windows 10 Review by divingjohnnyc
Mobile Version Stopped Working With Windows 10
This app has not been updated and will not work with Windows 10. Bought products when I had Windows Mobile 8.1. Since Windows 10 upgrade, I feel totally abandoned by Insteon. Not sure how long I will wait before I get rid of all my Insteon products and move to another company.

- It's free, it works, small piece of a much bigger system Review by nadgerc
It's free, it works, small piece of a much bigger system
I'm super surprised at the other reviews. App works great! I have not had the issues stated. Really, holding back getting more devices because of the Windows app? Insteon devices work great without the app. I mostly use the app for setup, but do use iOS and Android devices as well.

- App is Terrible Review by NickD
App is Terrible
The app doesn't start every time, you must kill it and start again. The app is slow to load, makes you look stupid when showing friends your smart home. There is no status indicators in the app. The color of the icons have no meaning. Notifications do not work in the app. This app has not been updated in years. The app only ready works for light switches, for relays like garage door only option is turn on/off. The app seems like is has been written by someone with English as a second language as many things done make sense.
The app does control your devices like it claims, however with no notification/indicators you can't tell if it did anything.

- Forgotten App Review by WheelmanForHire
This app sits at the lowly version number of 18.104.22.168 Last update added Cortana support.
Apple and iOS are at 1.7+
If you, like me, are thinking Insteon because they work with your Microsoft ecosystem, think again. Even the Windows app hasn't seen any updates.
Hopefully they are holding out for Windows 10.
I know my purchases are holding out.
Smarthome response: Insteon tells us that there will be a release coming very soon (at least for tablets). We also encourage you to look at this recent press release announcing that they are developing a universal app for Windows 10: http://www.insteon.com/press-releases-blog/2015/4/29/insteon-drives-iot-innovation-with-microsoft-at-microsofts-build-developer-conference
