Is this combination what I need for dimming my home theater? Will it work with the new Logitech Harmony 1100 + Logitech Harmony RF Extender? Logitech took out Z-wave so I'm looking at Insteon but there's not much on the internet about whether what I'm suggesting is going to work ...

No, in order to get it to work, you'd need an IR Linc or something similar. The remote is RF, but it's proprietary (to the best of my knowledge, anyway).

Dear bhlonewolf,

Isn't the 2nd link the IR Linc?

If I buy link 1 and link 2 is that all I need?

Oops! Didn't see the second link, sorry!

Yep, that'll do it.
