 uvr mx-880 to switchlinc		  New Topic  Reply to Topic

I have a universal remote mx-880 it has x-10 commands so if i have a dual band RF switchlinc it should program to the x-10 command right? Has anyone tried this yet?

The remote RF and Insteon RF are not on the same wavelength.

The remote X10 signal is IR. You'll need an X10 IR to powerline receiver on the same leg as the SwitchLinc.

Does smarthome sell any of this x10 stuff to make this possible, or do know the part number to the x-10 swithch you are talking about?

The X10 IR543 was the X10 module that took the X10 IR command and converted it to X10 power line commands.
It has been discontinued for a fairly long time.
