I have been removing all of the X10 devices from my home. I use the SignaLinc Plug-in Phase Coupler Repeater. It works well with my X10 but I do not believe it does anything to assist Insteon. It even flashes red when Insteon is sent.
Once I remove X10 should I replace it with a simple phase coupler?
Correct. The SignaLinc Plug-in Phase Coupler repeater will do nothing for Insteon. I am using two Access Points in my setup. Dual Band Devices where no being made at the time.
You can select two dual-band devices, two Access Points, or even one of each.
