You may have noticed that there is no For Sale forum here on the Smarthome Forum. This forum was designed to be a user-to-user discussion and help site rather than an e-commerce site, so it lacks any security or tools necessary to be in the same class as an Ebay or a Paypal.
Since the Smarthome Forums are paid for by Smarthome and carry its masthead, this isn't an appropriate place to carry on user-to-user sales. If something goes wrong with a user-to-user private transaction, Smarthome wouldn't want to get caught in the middle, any more than your local Ford dealer would want you to try to sell your used car to someone browsing their lot out of concern that they are somehow involved with or backing the transaction.
