Can some one please post a link to a PDF user manual for these switches? I have a couple but do not know how to program them to work with my X-10 controllers.

Thanks

Chakos,

I have a paper manual. If no one comes up with a link to a .PDF, send me an e-mail with your address. I'll copy it and send it to you.

Chakos,

Here's the manual for the 2380, the successor to the 1181. It was programmed the same way.

Greetings:

Sorry to re-visit such an old post, but I was wondering if anyone could answer the above question (where one can find the actual manual for the SL1181 switches, the predecessor to the 2380/2384).

I picked up a rather sizable lot of these on e-bay, but am not sure how to program their primary address (and fade rate/max bright if applicable). These switches look very similar to the 2380/2384's, however the 'set' button at the top of the switch is not actually a button on these switches, but rather just a stationary light built into the molding. Without a set button, I'm kind of at a loss.

Anyone know where a manual can be found? Or even if anyone else owns some of these switches and can answer how to program them?

Thanks!

I registered just to post this answer...

The SL1181 has a Set switch that is mid-way up the right side of the switch. It operates exactly like the set switch on the 2380/2384.

Press it for 3 seconds, you'll see the brightness and the activity lights blink back and forth. Send a signal to the switch and it should program itself to that code.

Other options are in the manual for the 2380/2384 link posted above.
