Just started out with Insteon. I've got a 2412N controller, a couple dual-band access points, 1 plug-in dimmer, 1 switch relay, and just got a Toggleline 2466DW.
I can add the Toggleline to the 2412N controller's panel. I can get it's status. If I manually turn the Togglelinc on, I can turn it off via the controller's panel. However, I cannot turn it on.
I tried removing the unit from the panel then adding it again. Still doesn't work.
I appreciate any help on this. |

Make sure it is on when you link it. Remotely turning it "on" will actually just return it to the same state it was in when you linked it. If it was off then, it will turn off now.

| That worked! It seems weird that it has to be setup this way, but at least it works now. Thanks so much. |

| It does seem weird (and it didn't used to be this way), but it's actually useful. Because of this, you can set up a switch (or a button on a KeypadLinc) that turns on some lights while turning off others. For example turn on a nightlight and turn off the main room light. |
