I have been learning the homelinc software as I go- I cant find much in the way of a good manual, does anyone know where I might find one?

PROBLEMs.... I can not get my Insteon Motion Sensor to work correctly it will sense motion and turn on the light it is linked to but it will not turn it off. When I go to homelinc it looks like it has not synced then i mouse over the "not Synced" icon it says it will sync next time it powers up. How can I make this motion sensor work as I have defined in the software?

I also get the same message on the remotelinc - it states it is not synced and if I mouse over it says it will sync next time it is powered up any thoughts on this also???

How do i put a controlinc in discovery mode so houselinc can find it?

I love this stuff but I has a learning curve
I applaud you all for all your help in this forum!
Thanks
JOE

I believe the massage refers to the "next time it is activated." Use motion to activate the Motion Sensor or tap the set button once or twice. Press any On paddle on the RemoteLinc to activate it. Press and hold a button on the ControLinc until the LED starts blinking to put it in discovery mode.

Do you have at least two communicating dual-band devices?
