Is there any way to get SmartLinc to recognize the status of the IOLinc system that I have setup for the garage door? Right now I have an IOLinc set to mode C with the magnetic status system. It sends the open and close operation fine, so I don't think it can be a network issue. I have tried using the smarthome software as well as mobilinc and neither find the status. I would like to know if the door is open or closed. Thanks.

The SmartLinc shows the status of the output relay, not the sense input, so with the momentary setting the relay is only closed momentarily when you use it to change the door's state.

You have a couple of options. You can either link the IOLinc sensor as a controller to another dimmer device, then list that other device ID as the scene status ID, or you can get the MobiLinc pro or hd app for iOS or Android--the app can be configured to query both the state of the sensor as well as the state of the relay.

You shouldn't have to do anything beyond adding the I/O Linc to MobiLinc. More help is available here: http://www.mobileintegratedsolutions.com/utilities/forum/index.php

Which Insteon software? Did you make MobiLinc aware of the changes?
