I am unable to link a ToggleLinc relay to a ControlLinc. I have tried plugging in the ControlLinc on the same circuit as the ToggleLinc, in addition to having 2 access points on the 2 phases. I have also disconnected the load from the ToggleLinc, but still cannot link. I have 2 other ToggleLincs that I was able to link. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks |

| How have you ensured that the Access Points are bridging the two legs of the split single-phase electric supply? |

| Is this a v1, x10-only ToggleLinc, or a v2, Insteon ToggleLinc? |

Based on the auto detection of the access point |

Insteon ToggleLinc. I just purchased it so I'm assuming it's the newer version |

There is no Access Point auto detection. It must be done manually using the 4-tap test and observing the results! |

Yes, that's what I did. |

What are you doing while attempting to link the ControLinc and ToggleLinc, in what order, and what is the result? Order of operations is key when linking Insteon devices, since linking as a controller is completely different from the device's point of view from trying to link as a responder.
Also, assume nothing about model numbers--you may still be able to find new,old stock or open box specials depending on what and where you purchase. What model number appears on the label on the back of the switch in question? |

1. Press and hold the On button on the controller until the light on they controller starts to flash 2. Press and hold the set button on the ToggleLinc. I have also tried holding the toggle switch up 3. The ToggleLinc never double beeps, I just get a single beep and then the light flashes on the ToggleLinc. 4. Press on and then off on the ControlLinc, but no linking occurs.
The model number is 2466SW v5.8 |

| What was the result of the 4-tap test, in particular, what is the revision of each, which one did you use to start the test, what was color of the LED on the second Access Point and was the LED solid or blinking? |
