Curious if anyone's installed any of the GE z-wave on/off light switches in a Vivint/2Gig system. Both are z-wave, and I've ordered one of the switches, but was wondering if anyone here had any feedback on how the install/linking went. The switch install is straightforward, but was looking to focus more on the z-wave linking part of the install.
Just installed a couple of them myself, on an Alarm.com system. The install went simply, and connecting them to my zWave 2gig controller was painless, but I don't seem to see a lot of capability with the controlling functionality....
Can setup 'scenes' (complex, and only via the security controller) which you can then setup 'rules' to execute those scenes, but it is complicated and painful (so far). Very disappointed in the ease of use aspect.
