With the Night Owl FS 8500 DVR,
Is it possible to set the dvr to upload images from cameras to a FTP account?

Can the FS 8500 dvr stream video out to the internet without requiring the viewer to use IE explorer and log in with a password.

I have set up an IP camera before and am having a great time with using it as a web cam http://www.aquaponiclynx.com/aquaponic-lynx-live-garden-cameras/duck-tv

I would like to get a security system that can do the same thing with several cameras. Can some one let me know if that would be possible with the Night Owl FS 8500 DVR? And if not, is there a system out there that could do it?
I will need to hook up at least two underwater cameras to this system.

In addition the IE, the SVAT DVR is iPhone, Blackberry, Windows Mobile and Symbian smartphone compatible. Any composite video camera can be used.

Hey TCLynx

Most video suveillance remote viewing options rely on ActiveX controls, which are specific to internet explorer. There are some mobile phone apps that can connect directly to the dvr, I think one is called IPVision?

Anyways, most systems probably need IE. Sorry.
