I currently have an X 10 RR501 transceiver, an X 10 big red panic button and 2 X10 chimes (I believe the model number is SC546) and would like to know if any other brands of home control devices will trigger these chimes. Also, is it possible for both of these chimes to work together?

I have two of them on the same House and Unit Code address A4.
My ISY-994i can send X10 signals and when it is time to get up it sounds them.

Also have an one section of an ELK930 Door Bell Detector triggering a PF284 PowerFlash module also on A4. That sounds them if I miss the door bell. I/OLinc if you add an X10 address to it also can be triggered by the ELK930.

Also use to have a TR16A Touchtone Controller also sound them when the phone rang.
Down side was is the phone ringing or is the door bell being rung.

Any brand X10 controller set to the same house/unit code as the chimes will operate them. Because the big red panic button (KR15A) can be set to only one house/unit code, any X10 responder(s), including the chime module(s) set to that house/unit code will respond together.
