After switching to Uverse and configuring the gateway firewall to allow TCP and UDP access to port 8000 (for the SmartLinc), I find I can access the system by entering the ip address manually (http://192.168.1.xxx:8000) but trying to access it from the smartlinc.smarthome.com "I'm at home" link comes up with "Error: Sorry, cannot find a SmartLinc on your network (public IP address). Please resend your SmartLinc's configuration and try again." Is there additional configuration needed for the Uverse gateway?

Ooh - good call. Old router was a Linksys, which was 192.168.1.1. Uverse is 192.168.1.254. Thanks for the tip.

Just one more question: the "subnet mask" was 255.255.255.0. Looking at the Uverse Status page, it shows Subnet Mask of 255.255.252.0, so I need the Smartlinc to reflect that as well?

Is the Smartlinc's gateway address still set for the old router lan ip?
