Posted - 07/13/2012 : 2:16:27 PM Hello,
Does anyone knows how to integrate a split AC to a Insteon solution? I was first thinking of installing a thermostat to the AC, but everyone told me that it was not possible, since you control the AC from the remote. Is there something that can send the signal to the remote? Or does anyone know how to control it with Insteon?
I have a split ac like this one http://www.lg.com/in/air-conditioning/split-ac/index.jsp even though the website is from India, the AC unit is basically the same.
Thank you. Mario

Posted - 07/14/2012 : 06:33:36 AM Hello, thank you for your answer.
This is exactly my split ac. An LG VR122CL, I dont seen to find a website that describes the functions and its remote control.
However in the user manual it does come explained all the features and how to program the on the remote. Also I dont know but it doesnt have a wired thermostat.
http://www.lg.com/mx/support/product/support-product-profile.jsp?customerModelCode=VR122CL&matchedModelCode=4200004085&searchEngineModelCode=VR122CL&initialTab=warranty&targetPage=support-product-profile#
In this website you can find the user manual in english.
Thank you, Mario |
