When I finished my basement, I ran several pairs of wire for in ceiling speakers for five stereo zones (over the bar, over the pool table, exercise room, etc.). I'm looking for an amplifier that has has an iPhone/Pad/Touch and/or Android app that will let me control the volume in each zone. I was surprised when I visited a local home theater store that they didn't have an product that did this. Their solution was to use an Elan amplifier with IR transmitters taped onto manual volume control sliders and I think each zone had to have its own Elan control pad.
This seems like a waste to me. I don't need manual volume controls or dedicated control pads. Ideally, I'd use an "i" device or my Android phone to talk to the amplifier. Can anyone recommend a solution? |

NuVo and RTI both have multi-zone amps that work with your iphone/adriod/ipad |
