My 2412N Smartlinc has worked fine with my previous Linksys router, but I changed to a Airport Extreme router. When I login to www.smartlinc.smarthome.com, I immediately get the screen that says "You are at home", and can go to the "Smartlinc has been found on your network". The IP address for the smartlinc now starts with http://10.0.1. When I click on the link, the browser can never connect to open the Smartlinc page. I tried connecting the smartlinc directly to the router using a nearby power outlet, but I still have no success. I don't know enough about the Airport Extreme to configure it, if that's what is needed. I also was able to use the Smartlinc when I was outside of the house (over the internet). The 2412N still controls my lighting, I just cannot reconfigure it, and I'm afraid to reset the 2412N for fear of not having lighting control at all.

I don't remember configuring a static address, but I did a Connection Reset anyway (held set button 5 seconds -light blinking, then hit set button 5 times for steady light.

Could I have interference from appliances? I just ordered a few filters - I had a couple, but I threw them away when I upgraded my TV/stereo and computer systems, unfortunately not remembering what they did.

One time only, I was able to get to the setup screen, but every other time, the web browser fails to open the page "http://10.0.1.25/" because the server wasn't responding.

Did you configure the SmartLinc to use a static address? port? If so, you'll need to perform a Connection Reset as described in the owner's manual.
