I am very new to Insteon and just started to play with scenes setting them up manually. I have a 6-button keypadlinc and wanted one of the small buttons to turn on/off another switch as well as keypadlinc's own load. Everything worked fine with the other switch, but how can I add KPL own load to the scene? This must be a simple question, but I can't find a clear explanation either in the user guide or in the forum.

This worked, thanks! I was confused between long-pressing buttons themselves and the set button.

First put the KPL local load to the ON position.

Press and hold on the Scene you want the KPL to be controlled by on itself for 10 seconds

Press and hold on the KPL ON button for its local load for 10 seconds.

Test.

P.S You should still get the single beep on the 10 sec hold of the Scene button and double beep after the 10 sec hold on the ON button like the manual describes between a separate controller and responder.
