Can someone tell me if I can enroll a wireless siren (Visonic SKU: MCS-730-AC) with two different Powermax+ system panels where each panel is pretty close to the siren? I.e., I'm hoping it's possible for either system to set off the siren in an emergency.

I'm skeptical that anyone here has tried such a thing--it is an unusual requirement. Where I have seen two areas protected by the same siren, both were managed by a single panel set up with multiple keypads and with 'sub-zones' that could be armed and disarmed individually.
You may get the quickest answer by ordering one to try it. Worst-case, you'd simply need to order another siren if they don't support multiple simultaneous enrollment. If you don't have the panels installed yet, I suggest reaching out to Visonic directly to see if their technical staff can answer. |
