The Opportunity:
SmartLabs, Inc. seeks a proven, professional, innovative and meticulous individual for an Embedded Firmware Programmer position. The ideal candidate will have a four year degree and 2+ years experience programming embedded firmware on multiple hardware platforms. Here are some of the INSTEON products we have already launched.

Embedded Firmware Programmer
Primary Responsibilities:
Implement/Design embedded firmware on various platforms
Test and document all work
Secondary Responsibilities:
Co-Develop firmware specifications on new products
Analyze test plans and test results
Serve as project technical contact
Review data sheets and instruction manuals for components the product supports
Qualifications - Must have:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
2+ years experience with at least one of: TI MSP430, Microchip PIC, Assembly Language, Embedded C
Ability to take direction from a Senior Software Engineer and work cooperatively in a team environment
Fast and accurate design implementation skills
Qualifications - Nice to have:
Experience with HTML, JavaScript, TCP/IP, EE
Good writing, documentation and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
