Joe Dada, CEO 
Joe Dada co-founded Smarthome in 1992. Dada belongs to the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a forum for young executives to exchange ideas, learn and share strategies to achieve personal and professional growth and success, and currently serves as director. He is a chartered financial analyst and holds numerous National Association of Security Dealers (NASD) licenses. Previously, he was the managing director and chief investment officer at Alta Capital Management. Dada served as vice president at National Investment Services of America in Milwaukee. Dada holds a bachelor's degree in engineering and an MBA from the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana.

Rajeev Kapur, President 
Rajeev Kapur joined Smarthome in 2004 as VP of Sales & Marketing. He was promoted to President in early 2006. Kapur has more than 15 years of experience in the PC and peripheral industry. Prior to joining Smarthome, Kapur was a Dell executive for 11 years, and spent two years at Gateway. Most recently, Kapur served as General Manager of South Asia for Dell. His background includes setting up sales and marketing organizations in various parts of the world focused on profitable growth. Kapur graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 1990 where he earned a degree in International Business.
Dan Cregg, CTO 
Dan Cregg began his tenure at Smarthome as director of engineering and product development in 1997 when Smarthome acquired SmartLinc, a company Cregg co-founded. In addition to co-founding SmartLinc, Cregg founded and was president of HomeRun Automation, which was purchased by SmartLinc in 1997. Cregg has also held engineering positions at McDonnell-Douglas, SVG Thermco and Universal Electronics. Cregg holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from California State University, Long Beach.

Ken Fairbanks, VP Sales and Business Development 
Ken Fairbanks joined Smarthome in 2003. He currently is the director of business development where his responsibilities include the sales and marketing of Smarthome's Insteon? technologies. Previously, Fairbanks held numerous senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard where he was responsible for the development of several innovative new business initiatives and programs. Most recently he was a founding Principal of ISC consulting. Fairbanks holds a bachelor's of science degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Duke Chadsey, VP Product Development & Operations 
Duke Chadsey joined Smarthome in 2005. In this role he is responsible for product development from inception to end of life. Chadsey brings over 13 years of high technology experience to Smarthome, including product development roles at Intel, Ethentica, and most recently Sonance where he led both R&D and product sourcing. Chadsey holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

Mike Nunes, CIO & VP Software Development 
Mike Nunes joined Smarthome in 1994 as a customer support representative. In 1997, Nunes was promoted to vice president of operations where he was responsible for call center and warehouse operations. Nunes was instrumental in the launch of Smarthome's e-commerce site. As CIO & VP Software Development, Nunes directs a team in charge of Smarthome's internal data systems, Internet connectivity and applications development. Prior to joining Smarthome, Nunes was a customer and field support engineer for MKS Instruments, Inc., an electronic control systems manufacturer for the semiconductor and aerospace industries. Nunes graduated with a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

Jason Root, VP Merchandising and Print Marketing 
Jason Root joined Smarthome in April, 2001 as call center director, overseeing customer service and technical support operations. Root took over warehouse responsibilities in July of 2001. Root has over 14 years of call center experience. Prior to joining Smarthome, Root managed the corporate call center of one of the nation's largest HMOs. Root also worked for 2 years with an internet start-up, where he developed the internet's first browsing support team, a 24/7 chat-based operation. Root graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics from California State University, Long Beach.

Teri Gulline, Controller 
Teri Gulline joined Smarthome in November 2000 as controller, and took over additional responsibilities as director of human resources in 2001. Gulline worked in public accounting for 13 years, eight of which she held the position of junior partner in a mid-sized accounting firm in the San Fernando Valley. Gulline earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from California State University, Northridge.
